He’s a Baaaad Mutha..“Shut yo mouth!” they say. I haven’t known him for a very long time but he is a guy that is easy to like and we have shared locker rooms a few times before this fight. We got to know each other and then we had to meet in the ring but as pros this is the sort of things that you just get used to. Well, actually he made the mistake being cool with me and now I never stop messing with him! I see him doing interviews and I make him laugh. I walk by in the hallway and I got something to say. We meet in the center of the ring to receive the referee’s instructions and I start cracking jokes. It’s too late to turn back now Mark.

And one burning question on a lot of folks minds is what was it I said in the ring to him before the fight that caused him to laugh? The referee was announcing the fouls.

“No elbow”
“No head butting”
“No biting or gouging”

And I amended the list by adding:

“No flying butt drops”

Zing!

Some may wonder how we could be ready top smash each other for real when we are laughing right before the match? I see it this way; Mark’s a pro and has been around the block a dozen times now and when it comes down to taking care of business he ready for whatever whenever. Me? I got this weird switch in me that can propel me to try and kill even my blood relative one second and be concerned about their health the next. I am weird in this regard and I just deal with it at this point.

Still, I was concerned about Mark’s arm after the match and hope it isn’t very injured. I play for keeps when I fight and don’t stop till the ref makes me but I still don’t want to see my opponents injured. We all lose but when we’re injured we can’t fight and make a living and we can’t even train which drives fighters like us insane. Its our release and an expression of ourselves through our special talents. Just to train makes us feel right.

I also wish to salute Mark for meeting me in the ring and giving it his all. It looked as if he trained hard for our fight and even though it went the way it did if we fought again I know it would be a tough fight. He’s a tough fighter and strong competitor.

I have read many of the comments fans on the US forums have said about the fight. Please don’t trash on him or disrespect him just because of his loss to me. It’s not fair of Mark and it’s a disservice to both of us. He defeated my good friend and top fight TK and that was a large driving force for my in training. Things went well for me in this fight with Mark but that doesn’t make him less of a fighter.

I really would like to thank all those who supported me for this fight and will support me in the next one. I am blessed to have the friends and family I do. I won’t name everyone right now because it isn’t about that. You all know who you are and know that your are very appreciated.

P.S. I declare their be a moratorium on any more Sci-Fi Channel original movies. I watched Darklight and the first 15 minutes of Slayer and I want that time of my life back. They are some of the worst vehicles for cinema you will come across and this company didn’t want to pay to do another season of Farscape. Who knows what we’d have done without gems like Bloodsuckers and Frakenfish.
